The Live Story of a Product

April 15, 2009

My mISV is almost ready to rock!

I am this close to launch FlairBuilder. Have been doing lots and intensive marketing studies (yeah, I know! :-) ), have been fixing bugs introduced lately in the app and studied a bit of screencasting.

I am playing with CamtasiaStudio, a great tool for screencasting on Windows. A bit expensive but it has a generous 30 days trial period. I am running against the clock!

I tried to make a simple logo that I could share with others, nothing fancy. Here it is:

It is my 6th or 7th day of working at home and it’s been great so far. Silence all day long, guitar pauses and lots of fun. From time to time launch with friends and a bear in the evening. This is what I call life! :-) Hopefully it is here to stay.

I finished all the paper works with my firm establishment and now, officially, I am a Self-employed person. My own boss, my own employee. Fun!

PS: No maternity leave, though. And strict regulations concerning coffee breaks, 2 per day. I don’t drink coffee so I watch a ‘Family Guy’ episode instead.

  1. You mean “paternity leave” :P .
There is such a thing even in Romania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parental_leave , see the Europe table).

And btw, if it’s about PFA (see http://gb.tekkie.ro/pfa-ce-trebuie-sa-stiu/ ), please let us know :) .

  2. I was so nervous waiting for your comment… This is the least expected place where I was waiting for a reply! :-) Nevertheless, thanks for the info!
